FIRST SUNDAY
Intercessions
PEACE between nations
Peace between neighbours
Peace between lovers
In love of the God of life
Peace between man and woman
Peace between parent and child
Peace between brother and sister
The peace of Christ above all peace
Bless O Christ my face
Let my face bless everything
Bless O Christ my eyes
Let my eyes bless all they see
Recall the events of the day and pray for justice and peace

MONDAY
OUR need, please God, is true peace in the world.
Peace of mind,
Yes, that’s what everyone prays for.
What is our state in the world?
Come and see how our people are destroying the world,
Without seeking what is in your heart,
Without seeking what is in your mind
Yes, if we seek peace.
God will grant us peace.
It is peace
That encourages our heart;
And making peace
That is the guarantee of hope.

TUESDAY
LORD, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred…let me sow love.
Where there is injury…pardon.
Where there is despair…hope.
Where there is darkness…light.
Where there is sadness…joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much as seek
To be consoled…as to console.
To be understood…as to understand.
To be loved…as to love, for
It is in giving…that we receive,
It is in pardoning…that we are pardoned,
It is in dying…that we are born to eternal life.
St. Francis
WEDNESDAY
JUSTICE, Peace and Joy, a gift from God through Jesus Christ for each and everyone. Without true justice there cannot be true peace and without peace true joy is impossible.
Justice is the seed that we need to plant within our heart, to nurture and cultivate so that we treat each other with respect and dignity. As the seed of Justice matures within us and is
reflected in the way we treat our family and neighbour, the warmth, trust and security created will bring with it an inner peace so complete that joy will abound and love will radiate outwards
like ripples created by the smallest of pebbles reaching ever further outward touching more and more with Justice, Peace and Joy.
Help me, Jesus, to germinate within my heart and soul your seeds of Justice, Peace and Joy. Amen

THURSDAY
FATHER forgive
The hatred which divides nation from nation, race from race, class from class.
Father Forgive
The covetous desires of men and nations to possess what is not our own.
Father Forgive
The greed which exploits the labours of men and lays waste the earth.
Father Forgive
Our envy of the welfare and happiness of others.
Father Forgive
Our indifference to the plight of the homeless and the refugee.
Father Forgive
The lust which uses for ignoble ends the bodies of men and women.
Father Forgive
The pride which leads us to trust in ourselves and not in God.
Father Forgive
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, loving one another as God in Christ forgave you.

FRIDAY
Almighty and merciful God, whose Son became a refugee and had no place to call his own: look with mercy on those who today are fleeing from danger, homeless and hungry.
Bless those who work to bring them relief: inspire generosity and compassion in all our hearts; and guide the nations of the world towards that day when all will rejoice in your Common wealth of
Justice and of peace: though Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen
SATURDAY
Christ our Lord,
Your light shines in the shadows,
And shows us where the obstacles to change lie.
We know that often they are in our own hearts,
In the way we live, and in our daily choices and actions.
We Pray that we may accept the light of your love
As a challenge to change ourselves and our world
And tale the actions that will bring an end to poverty and hunger
And lead us all towards a fairer world.
Be with us , Lord, as we face your challenge
And learn how to live our lives in you.
Amen

FINAL SUNDAY
Holy Spirit
Enable us to bring peace where there are oppositions,
And to allow a reflection of God`s compassion
To become visible in the lives we lead.
Yes show us how to love and to say it with our life.
Jesus our peace you call us to follow your whole life long.
And so, with humble trust, we understand that you invite us to keep welcoming you again and again.
